Specialized Resident Health Services

Meadowood understands that each resident has unique healthcare needs, which is why we offer the following services to help our residents maintain a healthy, active lifestyle:

Resident Care is our medical services office and is staffed with an Administrator, nurses and nursing assistants and an administrative assistant. The members of our staff collaborate with physicians to provide care and management for our residents’ acute and chronic healthcare needs. In addition to responding to our call response system, our Resident Care staff is available to provide short-term supportive services related to illness or injury. Appointments with community physicians, specialists and making arrangements for outside testing are also handled through the Resident Care Administrative Assistant. Should a resident require medication, Meadowood has contracts with Skippack Pharmacy for prescription service and delivery.
