THE SHOW OF SHOWS WELCOMES IN 2010 AT MEADOWOOD
The “ Kiddlehopper Sisters” was an act presented at the Show Of Shows held on New Year’s Eve at Meadowood. The Sisters were part of a cast of 70 Meadowood residents who performed in a live variety show held in Meadowood’s Schultz Community Center auditorium.
Nineteen skits featured show tunes from the ’40s and ’50s and included Lawrence Welk and Elvis Presley segments. Meadowood’s Merry Music Makers, a 10-person mime group, provided backup orchestra throughout the evening. The show was produced by Meadowood residents Sidnie Harris and Carolyn Swift.
Meadowood is a continuing care retirement community in Worcester.
