Answers to Your Questions About Meadowood
What precautions are being taken to keep residents and staff members safe during COVID-19?
The health and safety of those who live and work on campus are our highest priorities. Meadowood is working closely with local, state and federal officials to protect our residents and staff. And we’re following guidelines set forth by the CDC and PA Department of Health. We’re all living in a rapidly changing and challenging situation, so at Meadowood, we continue to review and update our policies and procedures to ensure safe operations that promote public health. For more information about the latest safety precautions in place at Meadowood, visit our dedicated coronavirus page or our Commitment to Safety page.

Meadowood is committed to transparent, direct communication about every aspect of COVID-19. Meadowood President and CEO Paul Nordeman conducts live broadcasts weekly to update residents and team members. And Caremerge is used to communicate with family members.

What is a customized retirement?
At Meadowood, we understand that retirement living is different for each person. Our community offers a variety of choices in residential living, amenities and services, and health care options that give residents the flexibility to live the way they want.
Many retirement communities feel almost urban, with multistory apartments, large parking areas and a concentrated community center. How is Meadowood different?
Our estate-like campus and natural setting differentiates Meadowood from many other retirement communities. We have no high-rise buildings, and while interconnections enhance the comfort of our residents, our 131-acre campus provides the serenity of expansive landscaped areas maintained for environmental sustainability and cared for by our full-time horticulturist.
Can I keep my pet?
Yes, at Meadowood we understand that your pet is a part of your family. Our 131-acre campus of shady lawns and beautiful landscaping is the perfect place for your pet – we even have our own Bark Park! Just check with our office for guidelines.
