Whether it’s the one-of-a-kind, such as pickleball and equine therapy; the serene, such as meditation or prayer groups; the cerebral, from book groups to travel; or the physical, including wiffleball and personal trainers, Meadowood has the blueprint to build the best you. No matter if it’s at social gatherings and craft classes or in the great outdoors, the possibilities are endless. The hard part will be choosing from our countless choices.
Meadowell is more than a program. More than a plan or a framework. It is our culture of well-being.
Meadowell is a collaborative effort among Meadowood staff, residents, and our families, and encompasses not just those who live and work here, but extends its roots beyond the borders of our campus, too. Each individual is a vital part of our community, contributing their unique strengths to our culture of wellness.
Living in Seven Dimensions
Meadowell’s person-centered approach is guided by the seven dimensions of wellness — physical, emotional, social, vocational, intellectual, environmental, and spiritual — as a model to enhance overall well-being for individuals of all abilities in all levels of care. The seven dimensions of wellness can be customized to fit each individual, ensuring that everyone can engage in a way that resonates with their unique goals.
Whether it’s a group activity such as pickleball, water volleyball, the theater group, or equine therapy; the serene, such as meditation or prayer groups, nature walks, or quiet mornings in the courtyard; the cerebral, like discussion groups, book clubs, or travel; or a focus on physical wellness in classes, in the pool, or with personal trainers, Meadowell provides the blueprint to build the best you.
At social gatherings, ceramics or art classes, dining events, volunteer jobs, or in the great outdoors, opportunities to answer the call to wellness are endless.
