Meadowood currently has the following position open in the Dining Services Department:
Nutritional Care Manager, (Full-time, Mon-Fri, 6:30am-3:00pm, plus one weekend per month) – Under the guidance of the Director of Dining Services, the Nutritional Care Manager is responsible for the operation and implementation of the Nutrition Care Program based upon established objectives, standards, policies and procedures. This includes knowledge and implementation of local, state and federal regulations. The Nutritional Care Manager performs a variety of duties including the planning and supervision of resident food assembly and service, scheduling, hiring, training of health care center dining service personnel, and recommendation for dismissal. The Nutritional Care Manager, under the supervision of the dietitian, may be responsible for providing clinical nutrition services to residents in her absence. Ensures resident satisfaction, quality care, regulatory compliance and good public relations through safe and efficient use of resources. The Nutritional Care Manager is the a.m. opening manager for the Dining Services department and responsible for assuring that staffing levels are adequate for service in all areas. Supports a.m. dining functions as needed.
Requirements: High School diploma required. Must have the ability to read, write and speak English, follow written and oral instructions and complete high school level computational skills. 1-3 years’ professional experience in health care as a Certified Dietary Manager, preferably in a life plan community setting. Excellent leadership, management, communications (verbal and written), and computational skills, with basic computer proficiency, required. Must be able to exhibit courtesy, tact and reasonable speed in performance of duties. Must be credentialed as a registered Certified Dietary Manager by the Dietary Managers Association. Must be ServSafe certified or have ability to complete requirements within first 90 days of hire.
