Sixth Juried Art Show

Meadowood is excited to present our sixth juried art show and sale that will take place on April 1-3, 2016. Featured at this years show will be paintings by nationally recognized watercolorist, Jim McFarlane, a resident of Schwenksville. He served as president of the American Watercolor Society from 2008-2015 and earned signature membership in the Philadelphia Water Color Society and the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society. Telemedicine comes to Meadowood!

The term “telemedicine” seems straight out of a science fiction movie, however the future is now! Meadowood Plans a Lap Pool

Meadowood plans to expand it’s already robust fitness and wellness program by adding a cool water lap pool. Also included in the project is an expansion of the physical therapy gym, redesign and enhancement of the courtyard as well as an addition to the cardio room and locker rooms. Meadowood Residents Association awards scholarships

The Meadowood Residents Association (MRA) recently awarded $20,100 in academic scholarships to 21 local students who work in Meadowood’s dining and nursing departments. During dinner on June 4, parents, family, friends, and Meadowood residents celebrated the graduating high school seniors who received educational scholarships in recognition of their academic standing, high standards of service in resident relations, attendance record, and positive attitude.
